It is embossed SELTERS in circle with lion or creature in middle....HERZOGTHUM NASSAU boldly embossed below the circle....On the other side underneath the applied handle is a fancy letter B and NUM 14.... Wheel thrown, hand made stoneware.....crudely applied handle...cork top finish....round....11 3/4"tall.....EXCELLENT NEAR MINT CONDITION with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Nice and clean with no stain. Very thick and heavy stoneware. This is a German mineral water bottle which was very popular in the Midwest German neighborhoods during the 1850-1880 era. BUYER TO PAY POSTAGE OF $9.00 IN THE U.S.......(OUT OF COUNTRY WILL BE EXTRA) OPTIONAL INSURANCE WOULD BE $1.65 FOR THE FIRST $50 OF INSURANCE.
