1880 p Morgan Dollar (2nd Yr. Issue) /Gold Toning To learn more about jewelry, coins, paper money and collectibles, please check out my blog...www.. This 1880 p Silver Morgan Dollar comes from my late aunt's estate. It's been in her safe deposit box for well over 50 years and is "as found." It was stored wrapped in brown paper which is probably how it obtained the golden toning on the front and the back. It is the second year issue and is a better date and one that's getting harder to find. If you look closely at the coin, you can see the beginning of blue/pink toning in the folds of the hair and on the top of the coin. My camera just couldn't pick that up. I've handled it with gloves to photograph it so please scroll down to see the back of the coin. I AM NOT A DEALER OR COLLECTOR SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE COIN AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF. I AM ONLY SELLING ON BEHALF OF THE ESTATE. Although circulated, it still retains nice details to make it worthy of anyone's collection. It's bullion content is significant as well. It will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation to make sure it arrives safely. Nice. Most of the items I sell are vintage or antique so plese expect some evidence of use and handling as they are pre-owned after all. I try to describe everything accurately but I am not an expert so I may miss some minor fault now and then.
