IS ONE GREAT OLD PIECE OF WONDERFUL AMERICAN MAJOLICA . MADE IN PHEONIXVILLE ,PA IN THE LATE 1800s BY GRIFFIN ,SMITH & HILL , ETRUSCAN WARE 12" LONG BY 9 1/2" ACROSS BY 2" TALL ,WONDERFUL AGED PATINATION !! THE UNDERSIDE IS A MOTTLED/SWIRLED TEAL /GRAY COLOR. THE TOP IS GREEN WITH A STUNNING PINK WITH BROWN STEMS & BEIGE ACORNS. LOTS OF MINOR CRAZING UNDER GLAZE . IT HAS ONE TINY 1/4" CHIP UNDERSIDE ON THE OUTSIDE LIP, & A TINY LITTLE FLAKE ON AN ACORN CAP , OTHERWISE ,A-1 . THE STAMP IS CLEAR & PERFECT WITH 11 OR 71 ON A TINY UNGLAZED SPOT NEARBY . A GORGEOUS EARLY PIECE OF MAJOLICA THAT HAS SURVIVED ,NEAR MINT .!! NO REPAIRS OR GLUE JOBS .
