Old Original Vintage Early 1885 Powell's No.6 Hit & Miss Gas Engine Oiler. This is a very nice early brass oiler. It has the name "POWELL'S PATENT S 5 1895 CINCINNATI O U.S.A." stamped in the top lid. Base has #6 stamped on it. Has original filler hole cover. Threads are 1/2" N.P.T. size and are ok. It is 8" tall and 3 3/4" dia. Top and bottom glass is good. Will need new gaskets for the top and bottom of the glass. No cracks, welds or repairs. Base has some wrench marks. See Photos!
