1889 Idaho Territory Broadside - Proclamation - Important - Constitutional Convention to Frame a State Constitution Printed broadside, single side, headed Proclamation and dated Executive Dept., Boise City, Idaho April 2, 1889. Gov. Stevenson calls for a Constitional Convention throughout the Territory to frame a constitution for the State of Idaho. To be held the first Monday in June, 1889. Signed in type by Governor E. A. Stevenson. Attested by E. J. Curtis, Secretary, with his name penciled below. Blind embossed Territoral seal at bottom left. Idaho became the 43rd state, admitted to Union on July 3, 1890. Size : 5.5" x 11" Condition : VG+ with fold line, small piece missing margin. Original item.
