Up for sale is a replica of an 1889 Campaign Hat that would have been used in the time period of the Spanish American War or even the late Indian Wars. This is a nice quality hat that is in great condition. I have reshaped it to have the appearance of a hat that has accompanied a trooper through many months of chasing the enemy. The hat is tan in color as many of the originals were and adorned with a wide ribbon hat band and a gold bullion and black silken Officer's hat cord just as the originals were. The size label read 7 1/4. If you need a hat that is larger, it can be stretched some to accommodate your hat size. I have made many of these hats as they are very popular with reenactors and used on many historical displays around the world. You can buy this hat with confidence! Take a look at my reviews. THE HAT IN THESE PICTURES IS STILL WET FROM RESHAPING SO IT APPEARS STAINED. IT IS NOT DARKER ON THE BRIM LIKE IT APPEARS. THE HAT IS ALSO DARKER THAN IT APPEARS IN THE PICTURES. IT HAS THE COLOR OF THE THIRD IMAGE.
