OFFERED HERE is a complete 1890 era five volume set. Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo, illustrated with more than a dozen full page prints, wood engravings. Published by Peter Fenelon Collier, New York. Sized 8x5 inches, more than 2000 pages. Gilt titles. Volume 2 has some discoloration to the back board.Les Misérables is a French historical novel by Victor Hugo, first published in 1862, that is considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century.
