1891 Books A OPULAR HANDBOOK OF THE ORNITHOLOGY OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. Based on Nutall's Manual by Montague Chamberlain in Two Volumes 1st EditionEach illustrated book measures 8 by 5 1/2 inches and have gilt top page edges. Each book shows wear on the decorative brown and gold cloth board cover corners and on the spine edges. Volume I - The Land Birds has 473 pages and is in very good condition. Volume II - Game and Water Birds has 431 pages and is in good condition. There is a light stain on the lower page edges (see photos 8 through 11). This stain did not affect any printed material or illustrations. The interiors are clean. The pages are free from writings or marks and are secure to the binding.I will combine shipping with other auctions won.
