I'm starting to sell off some of my father's coin collection. It's time to weed out a few and see what eBay brings. My dad and I collected various coins throughout the1960's to the 1980's, with most of them purchased during the 70's. The photos show the coin in its holder with notes/descriptions from the period. My dad was a 'silver dollar nut', and these were his pride.This auction is for a 1896-P MORGAN DOLLAR #10, rated Proof Like on the wrapper. Really beautiful DMPL coin.I learned that I couldn't list the grade in the ad's title, because these ratings were done by dealers (mostly his coin club friends) at the time, and this preceded the existence of any rating agency I know of. These guys are not a grading agency, even though I'm sure they have been around longer than most of them. I started the auction at about half of what I have seen the same coin going for on eBay. I included some crappy photos(sorry) taken with a borrowed digital camera from work. Hope they help. Please add $4 toward USPS First Class mail, with Delivery Confirmation.
