You are bidding on Rare-S carce Early “ Vintage Oliver Standard Visible #3 Antique Typewriter”. I am not a typewriter collector or expert, but the typewriter appears to be in a potential working condition, although it has some minor corrosion, nickel pitting, chipped paint and some binding. T is no case, only the typewriter . I don’t know w the release is to shift the Carriage back and forth. The space will not advance, but the sticky keys strike. This machine is for restoration or parts, hopefully restoration. Needs a new ribbon and adjustment. It will need some cleaning and I prefer to leave that up to the winning bidder. This Oliver 3 has 28 key in three banks and the color is a olive drab. The metal plate under the space key reads the patent dates. They are as follows: April 7th in 1891 Oct 30th in 1894 July 9th in 1895 June 16th in 1896 March 1st in 1898. Low starting bid with no reserve. SEE PICTURES - THEY ARE PART OF DESCRIPTION!!
