this iron axe is very old!! has label on axe that states: France (Britanny) 18th-19th centry, Axes like this were brought to America by French settlers& trappers, therefore the style is similar to 1700's Belt Axes with American touchmarks. Fine example of the Blacksmiths art. ex., Jerome le Barbichu Selieg, France. Guaranteed signed Ronald Juhlor??,I think that's the name sighed on old label, she is definitely and an oldie!!! and heavy, sizes shown in pictures!!
