Wonderful 18th century American primitive treenware carved burl wood mallet, potato masher or herb grinder. The work is signed on the top of the mallet with an A & a hard to make out V, please see photo 4. The work retains its original old surface. The handle is carved from oak. It measures 13 1/2"H x 5"Diameter and is in very good as found condition, please see photos. Found in Mass. If you should have any questions please feel free to email me.
