Rare 18thC Ferniani Faenza Faience Delft Maiolica Tin Glazed Bowl C 1750-60 Description This rare 18th Century tin glazed earthenware or faience Bowl was made at the Ferniani Factory in Faenza, Italy around 1750-60; It is hand painted in a very attractive pattern of stylized oriental flowering plants and a fence in the centre, with a diaper border around the sides and floral sprays on the rim. The style is known as garafano (carnation) decoration.The Bowl has the usual chips to the glaze on the rim, no cracks or restoration, please see the photos.
