*** NOTE: I'll be listing several very fine and very old historic seed catalogs from my own collection tonight and possibly into the weekend. 1877 is the earliest and all the most collectible brands are represented (Henderson, Ferry, Burpee, etc) as well as some very unusual companies that even the seasoned collector may not have heard of. SO, check out my other items ! Michell's Highest Quality Seeds 1018 Market Street; Philadelphia Absolutely stunning chromolithograph color! Photos are your best indicator of what's being offered -- so take a look at a stunning front and back color cover. The Mammoth Strain Sweet Peas and Fancy Nasturiums grace the cover against a brown to green background. Knock-your-socks-off color. The back is even better: A center Victorian-flourished frame mansion with manicured lawn is surrounded by Michell's Mammoth Flowering Cosmos. A company that apparently believed in the marketing power of presentation! The condition is near-fine with the only exception being some scuffing & couple splits on spine, mostly its edge. Original order form still present and attached as pictured. Profusely illustrated with engravings illustrated below. Especially nice is that often a close-up of a flower variety will be accompanied by an artist's drawing of a yard application w the particular flower looks like it was on
