For sale, a RARE TO FIND ( R-9 IN ARIZONA TOKEN BOOK, WHICH MEANS "3-6 KNOWN" ) and old "good for" trade token once used as "GOOD FOR 5c IN MERCHANDISE " used at a business called " THE OFFICE, J. CRAMER " (likely bar, saloon, drinking establishment) once located in historic old downtown of TUCSON, ARIZONA I am ALWAYS AMAZED HOW TOUGH IT IS TO FIND TOKENS FROM TUCSON . Tucson is a smaller city...but was much smaller in the 1900s era....and except for a couple of common tokens, I just cannot find them. Tucson is located in Pima County Arizona. Most tokens that say "THE OFFICE" were bar tokens....as in the man of the family saying things like "I will be home late tonight....will be at "THE OFFICE" late.....sounds cheesy, but heard many old timers say it! The Arizona token book documents that the " THE OFFICE, J. CRAMER " operated in the town of Tucson, Arizona....and this token is catalog Tuc-615, and shows R9. (R-9 means only 3-6 tokens known) and it books for $100. (if you could find one) This is a TOUGH one to find from Tucson, and last I heard, Wally World is out of these old tokens :) Trade token is brass, round, about 19mm in diameter, and looks great in person.
