Although undated, this medallion is a rare and unique token of the historic 1905 Lewis & Clark Exposition. Historic in that this Exposition jump started the Portland economy by leaps and bounds to set the city on it's eventual path of greatness. The medallion is not gold but it is of coin weight and heft. Absolutely no damage or wear. This has been a family heirloom for over one hundred years.Google "Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition" on wikipedia.
