Item is the Official 1905 Presidential Inaugural Medal Struck for the Inauguration of President Theodore Roosevelt.Medal is one of only 3500 medals struck in bronze and measures approx 1 3/4" in size and weighing just under 2 ounces in nice shape (as seen with rich chocolate brown surfaces).Item is well documented in a reference Official Inaugural medal guide called: THE PRESIDENT'S MEDAL by McNeil where this Inaugural Medal is described in more detail. The 1905 "Official" Inaugural medal is a tough medal to locate as many examples have been lost over the years.
