How do I know these are 1906??? - -The photographer and Gold Mining family traveled by ocean going steamship (the Yucatan) to San Francisco to sell gold and to bring back supplies such as picks and shovels and food (cows). Our Alaska Gold Mining family appears on photographs of the San Francisco Earthquake and FIRE of 1906 with 75 of the total 330ct photos. Description - These original photos include gold miners working at a site,a sleuce box trough, a log cabin with a man and two women outside, a picnic or lunch break, dredge,river long boat, dog sled with two dogs,cabin and wash day for husband and wife,and gold miners at the Gold hill.
