rare 1909 WORLD SERIES BASEBALL TICKET - PITTSBURGH PIRATES vs. DETROIT TIGERS @ BENNETT PARK (GAME #4) This item is being sold by Bryan Dec from BDECSPORTS, and we have been in business since 1989 & this is our 13th year on eBay. This scarce baseball World Series ticket is from Oct. 12, 1909, when the Detroit Tigers hosted the Pittsburgh Pirates for Game #4, which was played at Bennett Park in front of just 17,036 spectators. The ticket has some creasing, there is some border wear, along with some surface dirt / soiling, and there is a surface abrasion on the back. The Tigers would win this Game #4 match-up by the score of 5-0, behind the pitching of George Mullin, but the Tigers would eventually loose the Series to the Pirates .
