These beautiful buttons are new strikes from the original dies of the 1910 uniform buttons that the Boy Scouts of America had on their uniforms when the organization was started by Lord Robert Baden-Powell in 1910. These were made of brass and these new re-strikes are made of brass as well! This was the first official uniform button, and these cannot be found anywhere else! The physical buttons themselves are made up of two pieces of specially treated brass with a heavy loop on the back for attaching to the shirt.THESE ARE MEANT FOR DISPLAY/TRADE ONLY.
