Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! 1910s ANTIQUE CIGAR ADVERTISING SIGN, COMMANDER This vintage 6" by 8 1/2" cardboard sign pictures General John Pershing, the overall American Commander in Europe during WWI. He was a popular figure during that time period and dates the sign to around the late 1910s. The sign is two-sided with the same picture on both sides and has two holes at the top w a string was used to hang it. The signs were also sometimes hung on the string dangling from the slowly rotating ceiling fan in the cigar store. Unused old factory stock in nice condition. Minor age toning and edge staining adds to the vintage look. High bidder to pay $3.00 toward shipping. International or insured would be additional.
