17INVREFUp for auction is a very RARE dated 1911 Boy Scouts of America khaki jumper jacket. It are from the early days of Boy Scout history. Likely, the first edition of the uniform. It has very nice brass and cloth insignia as well as vintage buttons.. This is a very nice representation of an early Boy Scout uniform with rare insignia.Features:Pin on the the upper pocket "Be Prepared" dated with a 1911 patent date Original generation Boy Scout insignia logo embroidered patch on the left lower sleeve Khaki colored heavy canvas type cargo material Brass buttons 9 early merit patches sewn on the lower right sleeve "Boy Scouts" lettering on the upper right pocket Double black lines on the bottom of the right sleeve with some fraying (see pics for condition details)There is only 1 other of this style jacket on eBay with a $600 starting price. As you can see, I've done my research and listed it at a well below value fair starting price that is less than half competitors pricing. I based the age on the pin date. Research also shows it could be a 1910's Norfolk piece adult or 1920's non-choker collar 2nd generation jacket. Either way, it is a early piece of BSA history!The inside label is from Sigmond Eisner Co. of Red Bank, NJ (official national outfitter. The label identifies Frank Love of Troop #24 in Worcester, Mass as the scout who read more
