1911, OBSTETRICS, a Textbook for the Use of Students and Practitioners by J. Whitridge Williams, Professor of Obstetrics, John Hopkins University, Baltimore contains 950 pages including an extensive index. Williams was a pioneering obstetrician. He was born in Baltimore and authored the first five editions of this text. Much of the vast Table of Contents is pictured. Subjects include physiology and development of the ovum; physiology of pregnancy, physiology of labour, obstetric surgery, pathology of pregnancy, pathology of labour, and pathology of the puerperium. There are 16 color plates and many black/white illustrations. Buyer adds $4.00 postage, packaging and insurance if mailed to any of the 50 United States.
