The offered 1915 Cracker Jack Ball Players #103 (Shoeless) Joe Jackson was recently discovered by our consignor in Illinois. Graded Poor 1 by PSA, this tragic icon is perhaps the most recognized prize in pre-war caramel collecting. Graded Poor 1 by PSA, this tasty caramel treat is graded as such due to a patch of surface paper loss on his left midsection and microscopic dots of paper loss/residue on the back. With deference to the paper loss, the "Black Sox" alum is otherwise crease-free with bold player/uniform colors set against a radiant red backdrop. Even front/back caramel staining does little to diminish this icon's eye appeal.
