The Packers were founded at meetings in the editorial room of the Green Bay Press-Gazette (Aug. 11-14, 1919) and Andrew B. Turnbull became the Green Bay Packers 1st president on August 23, 1923 (See the Green Bay Packers web site at /history/chronology/ ). and Turnbull was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1977. The first time w he signed as the secretary of the Green Bay Newspaper Company (see 1st smaller scan), and a second time when the stock certificate was cancelled (see 2nd smaller scan: "Cancelled Nov 13, 1916 A B Turnbull") His initial also show on the two 1914 series revenue stamps : "7-17-16 ABT" (see scan of revenue stamps).Green Bay Press Gazette.
