Here is a 1917-S (San Francisco Mint) Type I standing Liberty quarter. Some modest, even wear on both sides. Date and mint mark clear and distinct. Just a hint of wear at very top of date. Small scratch on back side near "r" of "dollar" (see picture). It has been in a blue Whitman coin folder for nearly 40 years. Some areas of light gray toning. First year of issue. Mintage 1.95 million; the dates quickly wore off these coins as they circulated. Contains .18 of an ounce of silver.Buyer pays $2.00 packaging/postage via first-class mail. Extra postage to Canada. Will combine purchases to reduce postage. Insurance extra.
