1918 Calendar Wedgwood Boston Light Lighthouse Tile All items we list have been found in storage for many years in estates on the Northshore of Massachusetts, which we are able to offer for sale for the first time. This is a tile calendar from 1918. The tile was produced by Wedgwood and is marked WEDGWOOD ETRURIA ENGLAND on the bottom edge. The calendar was produced for the Jones, McDuffe & Stratton Co. - Crockery, China & Glass Merchants, 33 Franklin St. Boston, U.S.A. which is printed below the calendar. On the other side of the tile is an image of Boston Light. Printed below the image reads : BOSTON LIGHT - FIRST LIGHTED SEPTEMBER 14th 1716 - THE FIRST LIGHTHOUSE IN AMERICA. Both sides of the tile are in a brown sepia tone. The tile measures 3 and 1/4 inches across by 4 and 11/16's inches long and 5/16's of an inch thick. The tile is in very good condition.
