For sale is a WESTERN ELECTRIC DOUBLE CONE SPEAKER. This is from the 1920s and was used with the very early radios. The cone is 18 inches diameter and is a perfect reproduction of the original as I have seen them side by side. The term "double cone" comes from the way it is made. The cone tapers from the frame outward to the edge then back to the center. This gives a soft pleasent sound. The frame is refinished very close to the original color and is in perfect condition. The driver works perfect and the cord is an exact reproduction. If you enjoy old things that still work this is a great find. I ship world wide and try to answer all questions.
