1920's Amerith Jadite Art Deco Perfume Dresser Tray

From the Jazz age, is a fantastic jadite green colored perfume dresser tray. Made of a material that might be called celluloid or bakelite or some sort of pyroxylin material. When held up to the light it is transparent in places and also swirly like the old catalin radios. T are NO cracks, no chips, no damage at all. On the back one can see that the piece is marked with the following: Moirene A Amerith Dating to the 1920's or the 1930's, this might have been a French company. From the Art Deco age, this dresser tray is just under 12 inches in lenght from handle to handle and about 6 and 1/2 inches across the widest part in the middle. Just perfect to display your fancy deco perfume bottles or vintage jewelry. I have not been able to find out much about this deco dresser tray but it seems to have been made by the Arch Amerith company who manufactured vanity articles for the dressing table and a line of toilet requisites and fancy goods. I believe they were located in New York: Amerith Division of Celluloid Corporation, 1925. Amerith and Amer-glo, a "new" distinctive quality pyroxylin material. They also made c elluloid in 1928.
