This antique CRUCIFIX is definitely a pretty addition to your home or church. It is compiled from, and in accordance with the Decree of the Sacred Apostolic Penitentiaria of Feb. 17, 1922 COMMISSARIAT OF THE HOLY LAND Franciscan Monstery, Washington, D.C. It measures 10 inches tall and 5 inches wide and comes in the original box. It has a hanger at the top and JERUSALEM is carved on the back. Jesus Christ is silver, the front of the cross is like a shell covering and the back is wood. It comes with a pamphlet on the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, a slip of paper that tells about the crucifix and a signed letter dated March 26, 1943 from the Commissariat of the Holy Land, Fr. Leonned Walsh, typed in the German language. It is very pretty, in very good new condition, and comes in a cross shaped box.
