This is a really fabulous Period Dress we are offering for auction! I do believe it is authentic to the late 20's / early 30's, but I am not sure. This gorgeous Vintage dress is done in a beautiful yellow watered silk or satin in a straight box cut. The dress has spaghetti straps but they start high on the shoulders and have rhinestones in a diamond shape on both front and back of the gown. The darts are done in 3 small rows at the side seams instead of one longer dart seam. The front of the tummy has a small ruched area just above a center scallop - it is easier to see in the pictures than to try to describe!
