Historic Liberty Bell souvenir from the 1926 Philadelphia Sesquicentennial World's Fair Exposition.This World's Fair commemorated the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This souvenir Liberty Bell is cast in silvered metal. The bell is embossed "1776" on one side and "1926" on the other. The base reads "THE SESQUI-CENTENNIAL - PHILADELPHIA - 150 YEARS OF AMERICAN - INDEPENDENCE".It measures 3" tall by 2.75" wide by 1.75" deep.This souvenir Liberty Bell is a replica of the Expo's theme structure which was an 80-foot tall Liberty Bell illuminated by 26,000 light bulbs.
