Up for auction is a 1930 Model 3 Remington Travel Typewriter with Case. The Typewriter is an extremely rare two tone Red. Bottom of typewriter is fire engine red and the top is maroon. The Keys are white. The maroon piece has the Remington on the front and the red has it on the back. The case is the original case. It is marked on the outside Remington and on the inside there is a piece of paper attached to the inside stating that it is a Remington.The typewriter works as far as I know. I pushed all the keys and they all work. The ribbon on the typewriter is dry. So I can't tell if it actually creates a mark. But as long as the keys will hit the paper and there is ink it should work. Please note I am selling this item as is. I don't take returns.The typewriter can be removed from the case and placed on a flat surface or you can leave it in the case. The bottom of the typewriter has holes that slide onto screws inside the case to secure it. The case's covering is peeled off on the left side of the case but is still attached every where else. The handle is missing and so is the key to the lock. The top will not attach to the bottom but it does protect the typewriter.Please look at all the pictures to judge the condition of the typewriter.
