This vintage pin was found recently in my father-in-law's WWII military foot locker where it has been since the end of the war. He was born in 1922 and was a Boy Scout in the early 1930's. This pin is quite large (about 1 3/4 inches) and has a silver tone with a red color also on the front. It has the "Be Prepared" motto on the front. On the back it says "Pat. 1911 B.S. of A." The mechanism for pining this onto the uniform is intact. The pin is in nice shape as seen in the picture. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OR ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR BID!
