I have been asked to sell several items. Offered here is an Eagle Scout medal that was earned by the owner's father when he was a Boy Scout in the Early 1930's. The medal is marked sterling. It has the Be Prepared banner across the top with a hook hanging below it. An eagle is suspended from the red white and blue ribbon. The whole medal measures 3.25 inches long. The medal comes in its original presentation box lined in what looks like silk on the lid and velvet in the bottom. Wording as follows: Eagle Scout Badge Awarded by the Boy Scouts of America. The box is a hinged coffin style box with an elaborate decorative top and bottom. The edges are trimmed in a scrolling silver color. The box is in perfect condition. The pin's patina has been left in tact. There was no attempt made to polish it. Other than that, the pin is also perfect. I hav e several other Boy Scout items from this period of time including a mess kit, backpack, sash with badges, pin and scarves. I combine shipping.
