1930s Lionel Mickey Mouse Hand Car & Minnie
Works Great All Original Paint and Parts This is one of my rare pieces out of my collection that I am selling. It is all Original. I have owned it for almost 30+ years. I have taken some very defined close-ups so you can see everything. The most important thing to know is the hand car mechanism, going back and forth works great. Mickey is missing his tail. He does have some separation on the back of his ears, as well as a small chip from the back of his neck (I had it like that all these years). I believe it was nicked way back when. Minnie is in very nice shape. Notice the pie eyes and the Lionel Label on the front of the orange car is in FANTASTIC SHAPE. A great item for a Disney Collector, Train Collector or Lionel Collector. ALL PARTS ARE ORIGINAL!!!! Toy History:This toy which saved the Lionel Corp. during the dark days of the Depression is 2x7.5x5.5" tall, complete, all original and working. T is no generic track but this is easily replaced. The 4.5" tall composition figures are attached to the painted metal hand car. Minnie has a wood hat and both have wire tails. The toy travels around w/the figures moving as if they are controlling the vehicle. T is an occasional bell sound. Both figures have scattered traces of wear and a few minor small craze lines. Overall figures are Exc. w/nearly all color remaining. The silvered luster metal hand car bars have some very trivial tarnish traces. The painted hand car body has a few widely scattered small nicks and small rub of paint mostly off the edges of Minnie's platform along w/small area around the shaft w the key is inserted. Shipping in United States will be Priority Mail for $15.00. I will have packaged very well. I WILL SHIP OVERSEAS for addtional cost, depending on your location.
