Up for auction is a vintage scrapbook album from the 1930's. It covers King Edward VIII's abdication of the British throne to marry United States citizen, Wallace Simpson. It includes over 70 newspaper articles and photographs from papers in Missouri (St. Louis and Kansas City) and Ohio. It also includes a Philadelphia Inquirer "Coronation Rotogravure Section" dated May 9, 1937. The larger articles and supplements are not attached to the scrapbook pages. The album measures 15" tall and 11" wide. The scrapbook concludes with a few articles about a lawsuit involving Clark Gable. Winning bidder pays priority mail and optional insurance. I am not responsible for packages that are not insured. I prefer PayPal and also accept personal checks and money orders. A check will have to clear, however, before the item is shipped. International bidders are welcome, but must pay via PayPal and must contact me for postage and insurance amounts before paying. Thanks for viewing my auction, and good luck with your bidding!
