a This is an absolutely GORGEOUS dress with a matching jacket. The sheer navy blue dress has ivory color floral flocking and satiny blue edging at the neckline. T's no closures on the dress but the waist is made larger to slip on. The drapey jacket also has the twilled taffeta edging. T's a bow that's pinned to the belt, may have been worn at the V in the neckline. VINTAGE ~ 1930s LABEL ~ ~ FABRIC ~ ~ sheer silk crepe in a navy blue color MEASUREMENTS ~~ 45 1/2" length, 17 1/4" shoulder to waist, 37" bust, 32" waist, 38" hip, 14" across the shoulder seams, CONDITION ~~ Shown in a couple of the photos ~ the seams are loose on both underarms, they're not ripped or torn. Also on one side of the bodice is a hole about the size of 1/2 of a dime plus one above it the size of a small eraser and one below the size of a pin head. If you hold the fabric to the light you'll see places in the bodice with some tiny thread separations and thread breaks, all very tiny and wouldn't be notice when wearing. T's also some tiny pin point holes on the solid blue trim by the V in the neckline w a brooch or the bow pinned to the belt was worn. The dress is otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
