1934 $500 FRN RARE MINNEAPOLIS NUMBER GEM ALMOST UNC Description For auction is this beautiful 1934 Five Hundred Dollar Federal Reserve Note. This note is Fr.# 2201-I and is the absolute "key" to the entire $500 Federal Reserve Series. This beautiful note is from the extremely rare Minneapolis District. This beautiful note is gem almost uncirculated with only one faint center bend keeping it from full blown gem. There were only 24,000 notes printed which includes dark green seals; with a mere 8300 vivid lime green seal notes, the low being number 16 and a high of 1804. This incredible example is serial number 7808 with the most vibrant lime green seal we have ever offered. This note crisp with no rips, tears or pinholes.
