Wire Photo from the files of the Chicago Sun Times & Chicago Daily News 1935 WirePhoto of Brothers TONY CUCCINELLO (Brooklyn Dodgers) & AL CUCCINELLO (New York Giants) ~ Vintage 9" by 7" Glossy Photograph ~ This is an original wire photo from June 8, 1935, picturing major leaguers TONY CUCCINELLO (Brooklyn Dodgers) and his younger brother AL CUCCINELLO (New York Giants) . It is original to the period - not a reproduction or reprint - and originates from the archives of Chicago Sun Times and Chicago Daily News . The photo was affixed to paper with most of the remnants intact. The photo's caption is attached with red stamp PREDATE. The caption reads: Tony Cuccinello (left), star infielder of the Dodgers, and his kid brother, Al, who is starring at the keystone sack for the Giants. The brothers hail from the sandlots of Astoria, L.I. [New York] (Daily News-Wide World photo.) It's a great display item and definitely not one of the commonly seen photographs recirculated in the typical coffee table style baseball books. It is glossy and quite clear rating about Good over-all condition with slight creasing and editing marks.
