In 1936, Germany hosted both the Winter and Summer Olympics in the final occasion of the two competitions being hosted in the same country, during the same year. Famously, the Summer Games were held in Berlin, while the IV Winter Olympics were held in Bavaria's Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Offered in this lot is the volume two edition, blue-cover photograph album from the 1936 Summer Olympics. "Olympia 1936" and "Band II / Die XI Olympischen Spiele / In Berlin 1936" is printed on the front cover. A German Olympic logo is also printed on the front cover. This item is in great condition!
