Presented is a 1937 Mrs. Bronko Nagurski Chicago Bears Season Pass. The 21⁄4 x 4-inch season pass, with rounded corners, is printed in red and blue on white cardstock, includes the inscription "(Mr)s. Bronko Nagurski in black fountain pen at the center. The card features the gothic script "Chicago Bears" legend in blue, with "Football Club" underneath, also in blue type, and the caption "Tenders to Mr. - The Courtesy of Wrigley Field for Chicago Bears Games" in blue type, along with a blue facsimile signature of Bears president Geo. S. Halas. The background is a red photograph of Chicago's Wrigley Field from overhead. The pass is imprinted in red in the upper right "1937 Season" and the serial number "1085" in the lower left. The back of the card is printed in red and blue type and includes the Bears 1937 schedule. The card is glued to a 4 x 7-inch tan paper cut. Mrs. Nagurski's husband retired from the NFL at the end of the 1937 season but unretired for one last season in 1943. She was Bronko's childhood sweetheart, Eileen Kane, and they married on December 28, 1936. The couple had six children: sons Bronko Jr., Tony, Ronald and Kevin, and daughters Genie and Janice.
