Here are (2) vintage rolls of 35mm film black and white in negative form from the 1939. One says "New York June 14, 1939 HARLEM on the small paperboard canister (see photo). The second cannister Not dated says New York Columbia Univ Top of Rockfeller Center Most likely from 1939 like the other. . Same photographer of both. Same type of can. The negatives are not brown. Pardon my camera and lighting. The images appear clean and sharp. Film one: Numbered 1-37. I roll. Harlem... Ist two images not useable. No number on the first two images that are washed out. Number sequence starts 1 skyline shot. Image number 5 washed out. Image 19 out of focus. Image 8 blurry. Locations seen or name of show as follows: Alice McGollister...Whitney Museum...Cafe Brevort ?( hard to see the name)...Knox...Daniels Bar and Grill....Garcia Grant Cigars. The second cannister says New York Columbia Rockfeller. This is a shorter negative lot. Numbered 20-37. Number 33 is out of focus... Spots on number 31. many top of the building looking at the skyline. Images appear to be smoggy or clouded. Possible air polution? Some shots on the ground. No information was given when found regarding the photographer or anything else. It appears to me that this was shot buy an amateur photographer. Two small film cannisters.
