This is a vintage original autographed photo of Helen Forrest, circa 1940s. The glossy silver print measures 5 x 7 inches and is signed in blue ink. Helen Forrest (1917-1999) was one of the great jazz vocalists of the big band era. Depending on the exact year, she may have been performing with Harry James when this photo was taken. The inscription, "Best Chesterfield Wishes," refers to the long-running CBS radio show sponsored by Chesterfield cigarettes. Condition of the photo is Very Good; the image surface is clean and unblemished, with just some light surface thumb creasing. The handwriting is dark and readable.
