1940s~RED POPPY~Metal RECEIPE BOX~Grand Union Tea Company~HALL CHINA~Very Good!DescriptionVintage painted metal RECEIPE BOX decorated with the popular RED POPPY Pattern A premium kitchenware line offered by the Grand Union Tea Company of Chicago circa 1930s-1950s Coordinating dinnerware and ceramic items were made by HALL China Company Measures 5 1/4" x 3" x 3 3/4" high Made in U.S.A. by Ohio Art and fully marked on bottom (see photo) VERY GOOD to Near Mint condition with only minor surface wear from gentle use as shown - one corner edge is a bit askew as done in the making - not faded or abused - nice glossy surface Guaranteed to be Old and Original Offered as shown with No ReserveWe attempt to accurately describe all items to the best of our ability and provide clear photographs. We note damage and post production imperfections that fall outside the realm of normal wear. However, due to the nature of antiques and vintage items, some signs of wear and usage are to be expected.
