For Auction is a World War 2 Era Quart Milk Bottle from COMALAC COOPERATIVE DAIRY in LOS ANGELES , CALIFORNIA . Comalac was a Los Angeles Cooperative that came out with a series of Beautiful Picture Milks depicting Americas Strength during World War 2. One picture shows an IRON WORKER HAMMERING A PIECE OF IRON ON AN ANVIL . The other Picture shows a TENNIS MATCH. Both sides say AMERICA NEEDS POWER MILK SUPPLIES IT! COMALAC REG. CAL. (Registered California). There are No Chips or Cracks. The Red Pyroglaze is Bright and Shiny . The Bottle is in EXCELLENT CONDITION . There is a Illinois Makers Mark embossed under the base. The 23 embossed to the left of the makers mark indicates that this bottle was produced in Owens Illinois plant #23 (Los Angeles). The 1 embossed to the right of the makers mark indicates that this bottle was produced in 1941. A Great addition to your Los Angeles or California Milk Bottle Collection. The White Styrofoam Beads inside the Bottle that show it off so well will be included.
