This is an old hardcover book, 12" x 9", approx. 240 pages in length (the pages are not numbered), entitled "HISTORY OF THE 14TH ARMORED DIVISION." The book was written by Captain Joseph Carter, published by Albert Love Publishers, 1090 Capitol Ave., Atlanta, Georgia, shortly after the end of World War II. The book contains a very well-written history of The U.S. Army's 14th Armored Division, complete with more than 300 photographs that were taken during during the war, and a number of maps ... An alphabetical listing of all the serviceman who were members of The 14th Armored Division, including each soldier's home town ... An alphabetical listing of all the members of The 14th Armored Division who received awards during the war (medal of honor, silver star, etc.) ... and an alphabetical listing of all the members of The 14th Armored Division who were killed in action, wounded in action, or missing in action during the war .
