1947 Choice BU Walking liberty half dollar from old family collection. a super lustrous very choice looking coin with brilliant cartwheel luster and great eye appeal. very few noticeable marks, looks full gem to the naked eye. there are some very fine hairlines in the field behind Ms. Liberty that we think keeps it from a higher grade even though it looks nicer than many big name slabs in full gem holders that we have owned over the years. if you're looking for an eye appealing gem looking coin at a great price you will not be disappointed with this coin. these have been stored in an environmentally controlled vault but this one still has picked up a touch of toning but it is close to white and fully lustrous. p lease see the photos for details and any issues that might bother you, they are of the exact coin that you will receive. we price our coins at what we feel to be an average market price and allow offers but please keep them reasonable- you really can't buy nice coins at half of book, not even dealers can. please see the photos- they are of the exact coin that the buyer will receive. These were picked up over a lifetime, cherry picked from many dealer inventories as well as fellow collectors. I have always been a sucker for a beautiful coin and these are all very nice as gem singles go so expect real value for your money- these grades are not inflated and we used to sell them directly to dealers so we're certain you'll like them too.
