Up for your consideration is this stunning and rare 1947 Coro Craft " Carnagie Hall " sterling and rhinestone figural violin brooch / pin. This exceptional piece measures approx. 3 3/16" x 1 1/16" and features beautiful red, blue, and green rhinestones accented by clear rhinestones in a gold washed sterling setting. This beautiful piece has a 3 dimensional sculptural look and feel and is truly a piece of American art.This piece is in excellent vintage condition and can be seen in an ad in the Brunialti book " American Costume Jewelry " on page 12. The ad is from the March 1947 edition of Mademoiselle magazine. This violin is in exceptional condition, the stamping is easily read and there are only microscopic scratches, the one i am featuring is in far better shape then the others currently available, condition is exceptional and always makes a difference there are a few tarnish spots, but these can be removed with a light silver cream, i have removed most tarnish spots already with light polishing Please use the pictures and the ad as part of the description I have provided to you pictures from every angle, and yet the pictures still do not do this piece justice, stunning in person I do not see where any stones are missing, please view the pictures in case i have missed something Stamped: coro craft sterling, with the Pegasus horse read more
