This is a squat round red pyro quart milk bottle with a standard 56mm plug cap finish. It was manufactured in 1947 at the Los Angeles, California, plant of Owens-Illinois Glass Company (my maker information source is Glass Milk Bottles: Their Makers And Marks (1980) by Jeffrey L. Giarde).The milk bottle is labeled on one side in red pyro as follows: Creamland Dairy(Dutch clad milk maid girl with milk buckets on yoke holding her skirt out in the form of a curtsey &a Dutch clad boy with one bucket in a bow)(The Dutch clad milk maid has VIGOR on her hat while the Dutch clad milk boy has VIM on his hat)THE MILK MADE TWINS The milk bottle is labeled on the other side in red pyro as follows:_______________________________FROM PRODUCERTO CONSUMER"HELP YOURSELFTO HEALTH"_______________________________The white inside the milk bottle is Styrofoam beads which enhance display but could be removed by winning bidder without damage to the bottle.
